Biography

Dr. Hoekzema is a West Michigan native. He trained at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee for medical school and residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and has written several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Hoekzema provides comprehensive general E.N.T. treatment for all ages.

His specialties include: ear surgery (tympanoplasty, ear tubes, mastoid surgery), bone-anchored hearing aids, Ear Lens® hearing aids, allergies, sinus surgery, in-office sinus procedures (balloon sinus dilation), septoplasty and surgery to improve nasal breathing, rhinoplasty, skin cancer and facial plastic reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, thyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, voice evaluation, and voice surgery.
