Mako SmartRobotics™ joint replacement procedures

Muskegon Surgery Center is the first surgery center in Michigan to offer three different procedures — total hip, partial knee and total knee — using the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System. Seven of our surgeons are trained and certified to perform surgery using Stryker’s Mako System.

Expanding to meet our patients needs

We have completed a major expansion of the facility, our second large expansion in five years. This new 13,498 square foot addition represents a $9.3 million investment and includes two larger operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Stryker OR technology as well as more space for sterile processing.

Education/License Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

  • Knowledge of insurance billing required.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center Experience preferred. 

Responsibilities:

  • Post patient, insurance or other payments to accounts.
  • Balance individually posted receipts upon completion of posting.
  • Help submit and/or mail complete statements (UB04 & CMS-1500) and detail statement forms, to patients/guarantors and non-governmental third-party payers in a timely manner.
  • Balance previous days payments for Finance.
