Mazor X™ Stealth Robotic Guidance for Spine Surgery

Muskegon Surgery Center is pleased to offer the Mazor X™ Stealth Robotic Guidance Platform for Spine Surgery to its patients. This state-of-the-art technology allows physicians to create an individualized 3D surgical plan with comprehensive information and visualization before surgery starts. The ability to create a plan with this level of detail results in greater precision and fewer changes during surgery.

Muskegon Surgery Center is the first outpatient surgery center in Michigan, and the second in the nation to offer the Mazor X™ Stealth Robotic Guidance Platform.

With the combination of a computer and specialized software and instruments, our surgeons use this system to plan where and how they will operate on your spine based on your specific needs. Then an automated robotic “arm” holds key surgical instrumentation in place for the surgeon. The robotic guidance helps your surgeon execute their plan and perform your surgery with precision.

We understand that surgery is a stressful experience for most people, and we work hard to educate our patients about the process at every step along the way. Educating yourself on why our surgeons use the technology they do – and how they use it – is also important in understanding the risks and benefits of your surgery.
